JS makes it sound like EJami is going to prevail..... wondering it they will get custody of Nicole's baby? Could you Sami playing Step mom to a little Ejolette? I already here the Ejole fans barking up a storm!!!!
I don't know. I think AS/JS worked together quite a bit during Tomlin's previous time on the show and it wasn't positive interaction. I've got a scintilla of hope for Ejami getting the writing I want for them, but GT's love of SuperRafe and DamselSami make me pretty skeptical.
Yeah, JS said back in the spring of 2010 that he was working a lot with Ali Sweeney....that turned out to be much about nothing and as in anything even if they do go there doesn't mean they will not go somewhere else in 3 months. This show's biggest problem is that they film so far ahead that if a story is failing with the audience they have no way of changing it....6 weeks is the max they should be ahead....that is about enough time to get audience feedback on a story and write it to continue or stop it and shift gears. His comment then was accurate, though - he was working with her quite a lot. It's a shame (from my perspective) the story was such shit but there was no lack of EJami scenes.
I'll remain hopefully but tentatively optimistic. Hell, at this point I'm just thrilled EJami seems to be on civil terms and no longer trying to rip one another to shreds. As long as we stay that course I'm likely to be happier than I've been in the past few years regardless of how romantic (or not) their story becomes.

they obviously were not as familiar with the show as someone like Gary Tomlin, who's coming back
Gee, James. Tell us something about the show prior to 2006. This pissed me off. They may not have known much about his character, but they know about the show. They're just bad writers. The other two annoy me, too, but just because I find them both useless.
You mean there was a show before James Scott? Surely you jest?! I doubt JS remembers much about the show three years ago and I guarantee he doesn't care enough to actually find out about the show's history. Why? He's never had a reason to do it and I doubt he feels compelled to know the show he's eating up. That's not true. Thaao Penghlis said he was impressed upon meeting James in part because James had watched old tapes of TP as Tony when he learned TP was returning to the show. He wanted to see what the character was all about in anticipation for how the EJ/Tony dynamic should play out.
That's just one instance we know of because Thaao offered that information, not James. There may be other instances. Who knows but your guarantee of him not caring would be inaccurate just based on the above.

I have no doubt that James will looking up old youtube clips of Susan and Kristen now too....but IMHO it's only because it impacts HIS character and that story. I'm not criticizing that, it makes sense, but he's always come off as caring way more about Ej over Days to me.

Quoting limited to 4 levels deephis character, but they know about the show. They're just bad writers.

My impression is he doesn't watch because he doesn't like watching his own performances - he's said (and been criticized) for that several times in the past. My assumption is he seeks out the old tapes, etc. when an actor is returning so he can get a feel for who that character is and observe the actor's characteristics. He can't know how it will impact EJ because chances are he doesn't have those scripts yet.

Yup. I agree that JS is probably watching some old ED stuff. I'd pay good money to get a screencap of his face when he sees EJ's mama for the first time. :o

I don't even think James owns a television, I remember hearing him say that.
He is probably like Johnny depp, who does'nt watch his work.
